The County Commission Meetings are open public meetings. Anyone can attend them or view them on YouTube. We record all of the meetings and upload them to YouTube for the citizens who can't attend the meetings.
The County updated the website because they moved to a new more secure platform. The cost of this upgrade was part of the 5 year contract that was completed in 2012. The County offices will continue to improve the website to make it more user friendly to the citizens.

Yes the budget information is open public record. The County Clerk has that information available on the website under the budget tab.
