1. Who can attend a County Commission Meeting?

The County Commission Meetings are open public meetings. Anyone can attend them or view them on YouTube. We record all of the meetings and upload them to YouTube for the citizens who can't attend the meetings.

2. Why did the county redesign the website?

The County updated the website because they moved to a new more secure platform. The cost of this upgrade was part of the 5 year contract that was completed in 2012. The County offices will continue to improve the website to make it more user friendly to the citizens.

3. Where can I find maps and parcel information?

Click on the graphic buttons in the middle of the page labeled Map Search or Parcel Search.

4. How do I sign up to recieve Emergency Notifications?

Click on the CodeRed link located at the top of the website. You can sign up for both Emergency Notifications and Weather Notifications.

5. Am I able to view county budget information?

Yes the budget information is open public record. The County Clerk has that information available on the website under the budget tab.

6. How do I contact Atchison County's elected officials?

Click on the Department Directory link below to see contact information for all departments.

7. Where do I go to find job openings?

On the top of the page you will see a graphic link called Employment. Click on that link to view all of the current job openings.
